Hi there! I'm an aspiring Traditional Animator living in Portland, OR, and originally from San Jose, CA. I graduated in 2018 with an MFA in Traditional Animation from Academy of Art University. I've been lucky enough to work as a Museum Educator for the Natural History Museum of LA County and La Brea Tar Pits since then, while still practicing story art and animation on the side. After all, educators get to tell stories every day while seeing amazing drawing inspiration in nature! Now I work as an educator teaching science at OMSI while still animating and making beaded earrings on the side.

Fun fact: I'm also very into paleopathology: the study of sickness and disease in extinct animals. I have scoliosis, so it's amazing to me that dinos and saber-toothed cats likely did too!
